I was feeling a bit tired after yesterday's great cycling efforts and decided against another big tour. I also considered hiring a scooter but thought that as I had not ridden one for 45 years, this was possibly not the best place to relearn the skill.
So instead, I decided to have another look around town, with the benefit of the knowledge I'd gleaned over the past couple of days. I passed by an extraordinary travelling salesman and some noisy chickens on my way into town.
For a start, I found the tour companies and got cards to arrange some treks if I come again. Then I went for a leisurely coffee at Cafe Alee.
Next came the market. This struck me as no more hygienic or enticing than on my first day. It really seems a bit grim and the stallholders are not the most welcoming lot.
Then I walked on to the rather down at heel airport. It shows no sign of operating soon. Cattle roamed on it and a man slept in a hammock under his lorry.
That evening I walked into town and eat at the Green Carrot which served up a nice meal - A fish amok upon which I am becoming quite an expert!
