Last night's brilliant sunset ushered in a dull overcast day that was not great for photographs. A shame really as I walked up the nearby and sacred hill that is translated into 'grandfather's house' on the signs. Otherwise labeled, Phnom DoKramom, there are actually two adjacent peaks, each with its own place of worship. I stayed for while at the larger site enjoying the views before briefly visiting the second.
I then carried on walking along the quiet roads before creating a circuit back into the town past the lake and various grand government buildings.
I also came across several cows along the way as well as being unable to notice the litter/garbage that is everywhere
I was feeling quite tired and stopped off at the trendy and pricey Heffalump Cafe, whose wifi I used to book an opera ticket at the ROH. Incredible thing, technology!.
Then back to the lodgings
